Hospitality / Membership

Infopower has developed the Hospitality Modules in close consultation with a variety of Hospitality organisations to provide a system suitable and relevant to a broad spectrum of users.

This affiliation with the Hospitality industry started in 1988 with the development of a computerised Point of Sale system to replace the standard cash register with its limited buttons and reporting system.

The Point of Sale system has an integrated Inventory system with stock being decremented in real-time.

These systems were first implemented at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast, Queensland prior to its opening at the end of 1988.

The Point of Sale system has evolved significantly since then with the main change being the introduction of a Touch Screen version in 2007.

The Membership system was first developed in conjunction with the Club industry in the early 1990s and has evolved and expanded since then to suit different Club types, such as Golf Clubs and specific user requirements. The Membership module integrates to the other Infotel modules and has become a centrepiece of our Club industry offering.

The Event Management Module is another Hospitality specific component of the Infotel suite of software. This module underwent a complete re-development a few years ago and has been enhanced even further since to maintain its relevance and usability in a competitive industry.
